WhatsIn is designed with your privacy in mind. We don't sell your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Productionise It Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"), the provider of the WhatsIn mobile application ("WhatsIn" or the "App"), collects, uses, stores, and handles your information.
What We Collect
We collect only your email address and, optionally, your display name. You may sign in using email, Google, or Apple. Social login may provide email and name depending on provider settings.
Data is stored securely via Supabase. See: supabase.com/privacy
Pseudonymous Analytics
This data is associated only with a randomly generated device ID and cannot be linked back to you personally. It is not linked to your identity in any way.
To help us optimise the app, we collect limited pseudonymous usage data — specifically, product scans, product favourites, I Avoid selections, interactions in the Fresh tab, and feature usage in Little Foodies.
This analytics data is not recoverable after uninstall or device change.
What We Don't Store
The following is never collected or stored by us:
- Little Foodies card contents (preferences, emergency contacts)
This data is not recoverable if you uninstall or change devices.
Shared content via third-party apps (WhatsApp, SMS, email) is subject to their privacy policies.
Camera Access
Camera is used only for barcode scanning.
WhatsIn Does Not
- Track your location
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising profiling
Data Retention
Email and display name are retained while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime via app settings, which permanently removes associated data. Local device data is deleted on uninstall.
Your Rights (Australian Privacy Act 1988)
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be notified in-app. Continued use implies acceptance.
